Richard Hearn visited our workshop October 2017

The guys at sussex classics helped me out.

Stewart replaced the clutch on my 1975 Peugeot 304 and also the flat spot on the throttle was sorted out.

I couldn't get anyone locally to do the job, in fact none whom I phoned returned my call.

Sussex classics are very friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Once again thanks fellas.

Thomas purchased a Morris Minor from Sussex Classics in May 2016

Hello to you all. For several months I've meaning to add my comments to your list of testimonials.

I visited your premises back in May 2016 with the intention of viewing an Austin Cambridge which you had in stock.
However my attention was drawn to a black 1956 Morris Minor split-screen 4-door.
I fell in love with it immediately and purchased it pretty much on the spot.

I couldn't be happier with the experience of buying from Sussex Classics. The car was well-prepared, running well and looking great.
The service was friendly, helpful and prompt, the car being ready for delivery within 48 hours of the purchase being agreed.

The chaos of a subsequent house-move from London to the West Midlands means that so far, I haven't used the
Morris as much as I'd like to have done, but every time I drive it, I do so with a big smile on my face.

Alec purchased an Austin A90 Westminster from Sussex Classics in July 2017

Hi Stewart, Payment received, thank you. May I say how impressed I have been with your response and the service
I have received from you, both in my initial purchase and subsequently. I can without reservation say that I would
be happy to recommend Sussex Classics as a company of both integrity and enthusiasm to any prospective customers.
Please feel free to quote me on that if you so wish.

PS. Initial cutting back of the rot has already begun and the first stages of repair will hopefully begin this weekend.

Regards, Alec.

Pete purchased a Ford Capri 2.8 Injection from Sussex Classics in September 2017

Hi Stuart. I meant to contact you earlier to say thanks for the heads up regarding the article you spotted in Classic Car Weekly,
it was a good little piece and saved it for the folder full of history that came with her. I couldn't be more happier with the car
and it was easily one of the best and most honest examples that I got to view over the last few months. Unfortunately she is
off the road at the mo as the water pump decided to commit suicide but no drama as easily sourced and a relatively easy fix,
just waiting on my old skool Ford mechanic to pull his finger out. Still have the remains of a ridiculous grin on my face
and think its brilliant how an old Ford that were 10 a penny not that many years ago can command so much attention
and still turn heads. Love it! Was a pleasure to meet and do business with you and your crew Stuart,

thanks again and best wishes. Regards Pete.

P.s If you have any dealings with the seller from Eastborne again please pass on
that rest assured the 2.8 has gone to a good home and will want for nothing. Cheers.

Mark bought a morris minor from Sussex Classics in October 2017

Hi Stewart, Just to say we got home fine, a very entertaining drive....!
Jane and I are both very pleased with our new classic car.
Thanks for the workshop tour, you’ve got some interesting stuff there.

Thanks and regards, Mark

Message received from a Sussex Classics Workshop customer.

Dear Stewart, just to say many thanks for all of the work carried out on the Rover this week by you and Sean.
The gearchange is certainly now as it should be and much as I hoped it would be. It is a pleasure to deal with people who
genuinely care for the cars and take such an interest in them, as this is certainly not always the case.

I look forward to my next visit to Sussex Classics.

All the best Simon

Angelo purchased a Fiat 600D from Sussex Classics

Many thanks for the safe delivery of my Fiat 600D. I am very pleased with the car.
It is in very good order, however, like all cars of this age, needs further cosmetic and other improvements.
This is in a way, the interesting and weirdly, exciting bit.

I have driven it twice now. It drives very well, and everything works! It is as I remembered it when my family had one many years ago.
In 1965, my father bought a 1963 Fiat 600D as a second car. My mother used it as her daily driver (incl the school run).
Through the years, everyone learned to drive in it. I used it for four years whilst at university.
Unfortunately, after 38 years in the family, we sold it in 2003!

Btw, our first car was an Austin A34. My next target is a British car e.g. a MG MGB GT.

Many thanks again!
Best regards, Angelo

Message received from the Samsung tablet of a local resident in Crawley Down.

Believe me when I say, that there is nothing I would like more than to be able to sit down at my kitchen table and pen a testimonial,
for a recently purchased classic car from Sussex Classics. Instead I, along with many other villagers in Crawley Down, I have to make do by
driving slowly past the forecourt, with tongue hanging out and with the words I used to, or my Dad used to, drive one of those, back in the day.

For that reason and that reason only, I thank you for just being there and allowing me the opportunity to forget the new sofa, washing machine
and lounge carpet, which for some unexplainable reason my wife thinks takes priority over a 1991 Mercedes 190e Auto with only 88,000 miles
on the clock and a full service history, which I see has now been 'SOLD'.

Ah Well, looks like I have written a sort of testimonial after all.

Text following a visit by Charlie to our workshop with his Triumph Dolomite Sprint
on which we carried out some modifications on the suspension.

Big thank you Stewart & Shaun for the work you have done on my Dolly Sprint,
superb drive home, incredible handling for a 42 year old, that's the car not me!!
I will call you when I have the sills etc. Cheers all at Sussex Classics,
Charlie

Mr McCrae purchased an Austin A55 Cambridge from Sussex Classics, unviewed and based on our description.

Stewart was excellent to deal with from my first enquiry, to the safe transportation and delivery of the A55 Austin Cambridge.
The car was delivered on time as promised by Stewart and I am delighted with the condition,
both in relation of bodywork and mechanical operation of my new classic.
I would thoroughly recommend Sussex Classics Ltd to anyone looking for a quality classic, trust worthy staff and outstanding customer service.

Neil Castle purchased a 1950 Rover Cyclops from Sussex Classics

I was delighted with the service from Stewart and Shaun at Sussex Classics. When I came to view,
they left me alone and give me as much time as I wanted to give the car a thorough looking over.
I was able to take the car for a long test drive and when it came to making my mind up there was no pressure.
The transaction itself was very smooth and the car was fully prepared and ready to pick up as arranged a few days later.
The car is a delight to drive. I set off from Sussex Classic to motor through the West Sussex Countryside
very happily on a sunny spring morning in my newly acquired Rover Cyclops.

I rarely recommend a dealer, but I was able to purchase a very nice, rare car at a very fair price from Sussex Classics.
I would happily recommend anyone give Stewart a call if you are thinking of buying through a dealer.
And here she is stopping in the woods near Midhurst for a photo opportunity!

Mike. Purchased a 1935 Morris 8 S1 from Sussex Classics

Thank you Stewart and Shaun for all your help, advice and expertise in my recent purchase of my 1935 Morris 8 S1.
Your honesty, integrity and good humour made the purchase such an easy decision, and being classic enthusiasts yourselves
ensured that I very quickly realised that I was dealing with people that have that all-too-rare quality these days - trustworthiness.

The car was exactly as described, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone
contemplating owning a classic vehicle.

Rest assured I will be back to Sussex Classics if and when the Morris needs another good home and I am looking for another classic car.
Thanks again, Mike

Peter Waller purchased an Austin A30 unviewed in March 2014

Good morning Stewart. Sorry for not contacting you sooner.
Regarding the Austin A 30 I purchased from you. I contacted you as I was nearly 300 miles away, you gave me all the answers to my questions plus other information about the car. The details were correct as you described. Delivery was arranged by you and it arrived as promised at almost the time you said. Delivery chaps were very helpful. A pleasant transaction.
Thank you.

Sussex Classics sold Les and Maureen's classic car on a commission basis.

Dear Stewart,
The money has successfully transferred into our Building Society account. We would like to thank you for sale of our classic car.
The whole procedure has been very professional and friendly. The advertisements were accurate, honest and reached a vast market.
The sale happened within a short time scale and the money was in our account immediately.
We would recommend Stewart at Sussex Classics to anyone who is thinking of selling their classic car as the whole process has been hassle free.
It has been great doing business with you.
 Thanks again.
Kind regards,

Mike. Sussex Classics sold his classic car for him.

Hi Stewart,
just a quick note: Bank transaction went through ok on the day you said.
I like to say that this ( Stewart & co ) does exactly what he says on the tin,
you get all the knowledge and advertising of how to sell a classic car.
Brilliant service will be back in near future.
 Regards Mike

Andy. Purchased Holden June 2013

I was interested to see that Classic Car Buyer had finally featured the Holden this week ! She (Lady Penelope) attended her first classic show 2 weeks ago at the Old Gaffers festival in Yarmouth here on the Island and caused quite a stir. I wondered what the response had been like to the featured article? She is still proving reliable around town although a lot of the oil seals seem to be giving up . Probably a sign it may of been in storage for a while. Parts are plenty in OZ and I am still very pleased with my purchase.
Thank you again for your service.

Tony Edwards (Devon). Purchased 1956 Morris Minor June 2013

Never purchased a vehicle blind over the internet before. I telephoned and spoke to Stewart (an actual person) he talked me through the car and its history, he looked at all the points I asked about. I purchased the car there and then on Monday (later afternoon), Stewart sorted out the delivery and phoned me back and advised me that it would be delivered on Wednesday (the same week). The car arrived and I am over the moon with the 1956 Minor, the vehicle is as described over the phone. Good honest service. Thanks Stewart and Mick (deliver driver).
Would deal with again.

Andy Melville. Purchased Rover P6 May 2013

Many Thanks
